Recreational Vehicle Manufacturers Association of Australia (RVMAA)Principal Objectives
The association maintains close contact with its manufacturer members and also carries out its own compliance inspection and assessment of the standard of manufacture of its members' products. Your RV manufacturer will happily supply details on where your RV can be serviced or repaired anywhere in Australia. Owner's should acquaint themselves with the time limits of warranties applying to their vehicle and component parts as specified by the manufacturer and sub-suppliers. ![]() | Caravan, RV & Accommodation Industry of Australia Ltd (CRVA)Caravan, RV & Accommodation Industry of Australia Ltd (CRVA) is the peak National Tourism Body representing over 4000 industry businesses ranging from caravan parks, manufacturers and retailers of industry products, suppliers of goods and services, and service providers. The main responsibility the CRVA undertakes, besides engaging in political activity on issues that affect the industry nationally and facilitating a national accreditation program, is to market and promote the industry lifestyle to Australian consumers. The CRVA National Marketing and Promotional Campaigns aim to increase the awareness of the industry through highlighting the many lifestyle benefits on offer to consumers who have yet to holiday using the industry's products and services. The CRVA National body is governed by a National Board that includes one representative from each State Trade and Caravan Parks Association (except Northern Territory and Tasmania who have one representative) and one representative from the Recreational Vehicles Manufacturers Association of Australia (RVMAA) who gather to deliberate on national issues of interest to the overall well being of the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome industry. ![]() | Caravan Trade & Industries Association of Victoria (CIA)The Caravan Trade & Industries Association of Victoria has been the voice of Victoria’s caravan and camping industry since 1952. It was formed by a group of caravan manufacturers, hirers and private individuals with a keen interest in the “family lifestyle” caravanning offers. CIA Victoria aims to constantly grow the caravan and camping industry in Victoria through actively promoting the economic and lifestyle benefits of outdoor recreational experiences to the general public. CIA Victoria represents manufacturers, retailers and service providers in the caravan and camping industry, including caravans, motor homes, 5th wheelers, tent trailers, tents, accessories, relocatable homes, hire facilities and repair services. Victoria is the leading producer of Drive Tourism related products. Over 80 per cent of all caravan and associated equipment sold in Australia is manufactured in Victoria. The affairs of the CIA (Victorian Trades Division) are overseen by a Council comprising of up to 12 members who are elected from the Association’s membership.
